Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE) – Base Maintenance Malaysia Sdn Bhd (BMM) is a wholly owned subsidiary of SIAEC. BMM will operate hangar facilities in Subang, Malaysia, specializing in aircraft maintenance work. The location of work will be at Subang, Malaysia.
Purpose
License Aircraft Engineer (LAE) will be responsible for performing and certifying aircraft maintenance tasks, attend to various aircraft checks, perform inspection, troubleshooting and repair work on aircraft. He/she will also need to sign-off task performed and ensure the work comply with airworthy release.
Responsibilities – Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE)
- Perform/ certify aircraft maintenance tasks
- Attend to aircraft routine scheduled/ ad hoc checks and other base maintenance duties
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft and/or engines and all associated aircraft systems
- Inspect finished work, operation/functional tests and aircraft defect rectification
- Sign-off all tasks performed and comply with Airworthy Release
- Manage and maintain tool & equipment store and provide recommendations, if applicable
Requirements
- Must be an LAE in an operational capacity for at least 3 years
- Possess the relevant license from Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM)
- Possess either B1 or B2 aircraft-type license certification.
