Senior Technician – Indigo Airlines

1. Carrying out jobs as allotted to by Maintenance Manager/ Shift Manager or asked by AME allotted on the aircraft such as but no restricted to following:

  • Marshalling of aircraft
  • Parking and mooring of aircraft
  • All schedule and non-schedule maintenance
  • Carrying out all relevant paper work

2. Carrying out maintenance of all Engineering support equipment such as but not restricted to following:

  • Various rigs and test equipment
  • Various jacks
  • All special tools

3. You may be issued with personal tool kit. You shall be responsible for this tool kit and return all the items at the time of leaving the organization.

4. You shall draw tools which are not present in personal tool kit, or special tools from Stores and return them back on completion of the job.

5. You shall be drawing items and spares from Stores following company’s procedures.

6. You shall be returning all components removed from the aircraft after job completion to progress or stores after relevant paper work and computer entry as per company procedure

7. While working on the aircraft you shall take all general aviation precautions and caution specific to particular job as specified in the Aircraft Maintenance Manual or advised by concerned AME.

8. You shall be required to undertake flying duties or temporary out station posting as and when required

Work Experience  – Min. 4 years on A320/ Boeing/ATR aircraft 

Qualification – 10+ 2 and AME Diploma (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer)

Associate TechnicianIndigo Airlines

Job Posting Start Date: 9 Aug 2024

Location: India, India, IN

  • Depending on core skill capability, allotment can be on Aircraft (LMD) at Base or Outstations, BMD (Overhaul Shops , NDT, Paint, Composite Shop etc.) at Delhi Base
  • Familiarisation with various Schedules / Flying Hour limitations etc. pertaining to Transit, Layover, 8 Day Inspection etc.  and understand the work content.
  • Observe and understand the Tasks / Inspections that are being done by Technicians and Inspections being carried out by AMEs.
  • Familiar with the various parts and components and their access to the aircraft.
  • Familiar with the Overhaul Shops like Battery, Paint, NDT etc. if posted to such overhaul shops.
  • Carry out inspection / repair/ testing / modifications on aircraft systems / components within the given TAT.
  • Use the various Tools / Equipment / Ground Equipment being used for Aircraft Maintenance work.
  • Complete the schedule tasks on the aircraft in time so that Technical Regularity is maintained at 99.9 %
  • Develop skills on Snag Rectification and learn to work with minimal supervision or independently.
  • Learn the usage of AMOs and enter basic data or extract any required information by SIC.
  • Familiar with Marshalling of Aircraft.
  • Understand Maintenance Documentation Forms and Reporting systems
  • Develop Adherence to SOPs, Safety Procedures, Pit Stop Process and be versed with GIC / QAN etc.
  • Open to work in rotational shift or any shift timings as required.

Any other assignments as given by SIC/ Station Engineer.
