Job description
The Pilot will be responsible for the safe and economic operation of aircraft and passengers. Ensure consistent operational efficiency, whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety.
Responsibilities
Will exercise functions over the flight operations as directed by the Pilot in command of the aircraft including all flying / operational activity during flight operations.
Perform all duties as described in the company / OEM manuals and assist the PIC. Carry out periodic checks on fuel used / remaining. Monitor flight, engine and other instruments. Read out the check lists at the appropriate times and ensure that the same is being complied with.
Review of Operations Manual, incorporation of revisions / amendments thereto, after obtaining DGCA approval and issue of circular. Ensure that all operational records / documents are properly maintained.
Will maintain high standards of flying activities. Participating in regular training and development programs, keeping up with industry trends and best practices, and seeking out opportunities for growth and advancement.
Work effectively with the rest of the Ground Operations team, Engineering and Flight Crew, including Pre & post flight briefing, delegation of tasks, and decision-making.
Follows safety procedures and protocols during flights, weather checks, including creating a safe environment for the crew and customer.
Adhering to standard operating procedures, Pre & post flight safety checklists, and emergency response programs
Qualifications & Requirements
Shall have a minimum of 500 hours of flying on type in Corporate Aviation or Airlines on B737-8 Max
Candidates must have good knowledge of DGCA regulations, knowledge of weight and balance checks, preparing load and trim sheet charts, flight procedures, cockpit checks and emergency procedures of the type rated aircraft.
Should hold a valid CPL /ATPL with aircraft type duly endorsed and meet all requirements as endorsed by the DGCA.
