Job Description
Are you an aspiring Technical Services Engineer looking to join a leading airline company? Singapore Airlines (SIA) Engineering Division is seeking a talented individual to join our Technical Services department. You will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of the SIA Fleet of aircraft, including operations, performance improvements, analysis, and troubleshooting of defects.
Key Responsibilities – Technical Services Engineer
– Technical Assistance : Provide expert technical support to ensure the efficient operation of the SIA Fleet of aircraft.
– Design Compliance: Ensure all design work complies with Singapore Air Navigation Order, Singapore Airworthiness Requirements, and Airworthiness Notices.
– Interdepartmental Liaison: Collaborate with other Engineering and Flight Operations departments and SIA Engineering Company to analyze and troubleshoot defects.
– Performance and Reliability Improvements: Evaluate and recommend modifications from aircraft and engine manufacturers and component vendors to enhance aircraft, engine, and component performance and reliability.
– Operational Studies: Conduct studies on the operation of the SIA Fleet to identify areas for performance improvement.
Requirements (Technical Services Engineer)
– Educational Qualifications: Possess at least a Degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
– Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good interpersonal skills are essential due to interaction with various departments.
– Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to diagnose problems and provide effective solutions.
– Work Commitment: Be prepared to work extended hours to resolve technical and operational issues.
