Aircraft Maintenance Technician – Welcome to the Regional Jet Center As a Ground Mechanical Engineer (GWK) or Aircraft Maintenance Technician, no day is the same: from planned maintenance in the hangar, to technical support at Schiphol Center or Quick Response Team missions to outstations in Europe. Being able to switch quickly is therefore important. Fortunately, in a team of around 170 colleagues you are never alone and there is a solution for every challenge.

What are you going to do? – Aircraft Maintenance Technician

As a GWK you are part of the aircraft maintenance department. You are responsible for independently performing all repair and modification work and releasing the work performed, both by yourself and the team you are assigned to. In addition, you are also responsible for:

  • Directing mechanics and supervising the work performed;
  • Independently performing inspections, troubleshooting, repairs and modifications;
  • Carrying out administrative tasks in accordance with aviation regulations;
  • Joint responsibility for the technical punctuality and availability of the aircraft at Schiphol-Centrum, Schiphol-Oost and European outposts.

Your profile – Aircraft Maintenance Technician

If you want to work for us as a Civil Engineer, we ask the following of you:

  • Completed relevant education at MBO level 4;
  • In possession of Part 66 AML B1.1 or B1.1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance License;
  • Aircraft type training is a plus;
  • Knowledge of EASA legislation and regulations;
  • Experience within an aircraft maintenance environment;
  • Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.

In addition to a challenging role within Europe’s largest MRO for Embraers, we also offer you:

  • A basic monthly salary of € 3,407 – to € 4,338 –
  • An irregular working hours allowance of approximately €800 per month;
