Carries out and supervises Base-level maintenance tasks on Air Arabia and 3rd party aircrafts within the CAR 66 ‘B2’ License Category, ensuring the required work is performed, certified and recorded accurately and timely in accordance with Air Arabia and regulatory requirements.

Operational Excellence
- Reviews assigned task cards with the Maintenance Manager to gain full understanding of the work, priorities, documentation requirements and cautions, prior to starting work.

- Carries out aircraft test and inspection tasks to the standard necessary to fully identify and record any defects or damage in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
- Performs defect troubleshooting and rectification in accordance with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and instructions provided by Engineering Department.
- Signs off maintenance tasks performed or supervised within the scope of own authorisation, verifying that the task card and associated documents have been completed to the required standard following completion of all maintenance.

Technical Services Engineer – Aircraft Systems

Job Purpose
Develop, manage, and monitor “Systems” for reliability of the assigned Airline and third-party aircrafts.
Encompasses short/long term maintenance needs and modifications to optimize and extend the reliability and airworthiness of the aircrafts overall systems, enhance operational dispatch, and ensure fleet readiness and safety as well as compliance with the Airworthiness Directive as issued by the relevant aviation authorities.
Key Result Responsibilities
- On day-to-day basis to support the engineering maintenance (Line, Hangar, MCC, other CAMO department), this would include, performance review, analysis of requests, management reporting, corrective measures, and necessary modifications.
- Liaison between the airline and external parties such as OEMs and regulatory bodies on matters related to modification, corrective measures and projects
- Utilizes data gathered from different sources to conduct technical root-cause analysis and troubleshooting and to decide on aircrafts efficiency and maintenance needs.
- Analyzes data and technical performance reports to identify trends, highlight findings and suggest solutions and proactive modifications.
- Identifies corrective measures and modifications to fix any damages or airworthiness findings, recommends AMP inclusions/exclusions along with justification and supporting evidences, as and when required.
- Reviews technical document review as per TPM section 5, for implementation of modification/repair subject to CAMO management acceptance.
- Partners with stakeholders such as Projects, Warranty, Legal and Finance in developing new projects and initiatives and in drafting engineering and maintenance related contracts and SLAs ,this includes evaluations, feasibility studies, researches, testing, etc.
- Supports the line manager in developing procedures, specifications, and EOS (Engineering Operational Standards) associated with the CAMO.
- Provides guidance and support to the MROs when and as needed; communicates to them any changes, mandatory modifications and any necessary information or actions to be taken.
- Assists in the closure of occurrence reports and audit findings.
- Participates in function related meetings/conferences and events both internally and externally.
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
- Bachelor degree in Aircraft Engineering/ Electro-Mechanical/Aeronautical or equivalent (LAE); alternately a higher diploma or certificate in a relating field from a recognized university or engineering college combined with needed experience and exposure.
- Project Management, Cost Control, Compliance, Budgeting and Quality Assurance certificates and trainings are an added value and some may be treated as conditional for this role.
- Capable of using technology systems & tools; proficient in Microsoft Office and MRO systems.
- Excellent in written and verbal communication skills: reporting, presentations, etc.

Maintenance Planning Engineer, Sharjah

Job Purpose
- The job holder handles his/her duties independently within the framework of responsibilities and boundaries identified with this role and in accordance with standard practices.
- Consults with Line Manager on any critical or AOG activities & any non-routine actions prior to executing; all duties shall be performed through proper channel and in compliance with adopted policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities
- Develops long-term/short-term maintenance plans for Air Arabia fleet maintenance based on the Approved Maintenance Program and any other documents issued by CAMO engineering services.
- Executes maintenance activities forecasting in company MIS (AMOS) in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Creates any scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance/ base maintenance /workshops/third party work packages and coordinate with all responsible stake holders in line with the procedures laid down in company manuals.
- Prepares, coordinates and schedules all short term maintenance requirements working closely with line maintenance and MCC departments.
- Coordinates, create, plan and verify third party maintenance work packages.
- Responsible for effective package creation, issuance of preloads ,gnatt charts and any other support required for check execution.
- Maintains a system of monitoring and control of the maintenance program to ensure that the maintenance schedules are executed timely and according to approved practices. This includes report-back maintenance events carried out within an approved time frame given in the company procedures.; providing complete check analysis post completion of major checks (including “A” check);
- Develop monthly/quarterly/half yearly and yearly man hour forecast vs man hours utilised reports.
- Coordinates with Stakeholders to develop maintenance capacity plan and manage scheduled/unscheduled maintenance activities taking into consideration the agreed parameters (calendar, hours, cycles), cost and business needs, overlaps, unforeseen circumstances as well as emergencies.
- Coordinates with Technical Procurement team to ensure all tools, spare parts and components prior to scheduling or planning any maintenance activity on Air Arabia fleet or third party entity.
- Monitors tasks completion versus Engineers checks requests in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations.
- Schedule compliance of airworthiness directives as well as non-mandatory service bulletins and modifications issued by CAMO engineering.
- Provides necessary assistance in the aircrafts lease/sublease process through technical evaluation of aircrafts.
