Line Maintenance Mechanic
The Line Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for carrying out all line maintenance activities, as well as providing assistance, while oversighting third party activities.
- Able to demonstrate in-depth airframe and engine systems maintenance knowledge.
- Preparation of BSI & Compressor wash equipment at site.
- Carry out borescope & Eng wash tasks in accordance with AMM.
- Evaluate damage found in BSI in accordance with AMM.
- Write reports detailing BSI findings and condition of engine.
- Monitor and oversight engine-run post compressor wash.
- Well up-keeping of BSI and Eng Wash equipment and reporting of equipment defects.
- Releasing ACFT after tasks are accomplished.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and systems modifications on all Thales Systems.
- Travel with BSI equipment to perform Borescope inspection tasks in outer stations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience certifying maintenance on the A320 aircraft.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a Line/Base aircraft Maintenance environment.
- Valid GACA A & P/FAA or equivalent Aircraft Maintenance License.
- A320 (CFM56/LEAP 1A) family type rating.
- Engine run (RTS).
- CFM 56B Borescope Inspection Approval.
Avionics Technician
The avionics technician is responsible for providing technical support services to help deliver operational excellence.
- Demonstrate technical leadership in your field of expertise to ensure safety, compliance and technical standards are maintained and the best technical solutions delivered.
- Provide on-site specialist technical support as required in the production areas to deliver effective and fast resolution to technical issues.
- Prepare and approve technical data and work instructions to ensure aircraft, engines, components and/or cabin products are maintained, repaired, modified and overhauled to the required standards.
- Investigate safety reports, repetitive defects and fleet reliability data and take effective action to prevent recurrence and improve operational performance.
- Manage and develop aircraft maintenance programs to achieve industry leading technical performance.
- Evaluate manufacturer maintenance data (e.g., SB’s), airworthiness directives, other industry recommendations and regulatory requirements and implement the appropriate recommendations applicable to flyadeal.
- Hold and exercise technical engineer approvals as required by the role to support the business needs.
- Develop and implement technical process improvement and cost reduction initiatives to improve competitive performance.
- Create financial business cases in accordance with corporate finance standing instructions to gain spend approval for costs associated with technical decisions.
- Collaborate effectively with all relevant internal and external stakeholders and manage key supplier and customer relationships to ensure the best and most competitive business solutions are delivered.
Requirements
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in aircraft or aerospace engineering OR License holders of A&P and/or B1/B2 accepted if a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience and five (5) years of airline engineering can be proven.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a similar role.
- Detailed knowledge of avionic systems of A320 family aircraft (ATA 22/23/34 etc.).
- Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS).
- Fuel Tank Safety (FTS).
- Reduced Vertical Separation Minima (RVSM).
